While some pointed fingers at the Russians and some pointed at the illegals, and others at dead people, the real ‘hack’ has yet to be addressed. But appears to be currently underway. In November, one week prior to the election, it was discovered that KFVS12 had a public FTP site that listed the winners of the election that had not officially occurred. Yet KFVS was reporting for Illinois, Missouri, and Kentucky, on some of the races, that there was 100% of the precincts reporting.
In December WSB-TV of Atlanta, Georgia reported that not only was their state election agencies compromised by an IP address that appeared to come from the Department of Homeland Security, but two additional states also reported the same issue, West Virginia and Kentucky.
Now today we learn from the Daily Caller … “Federal officials have launched an investigation into why the Department of Homeland Security hacked into the Georgia state governmental network, including its election system, The Daily Caller News Foundation’s Investigative Group has learned.”
…“The “scans” are attacks to test security weaknesses in a network. It’s called the electronic equivalent of “rattling doorknobs” to see if they’re unlocked — or on a darker side, to send a message to a recipient.
Georgian IT specialists traced 10 such scans back to a DHS IP address. DHS officials confirmed the attacks came from an unnamed contractor attached to the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Glynco, Georgia, a part of DHS.
FLETCO officials have refused to identify the contractor and the agency did not respond to a DCNF inquiry about the intrusions.”
While the DHS intrusions may or may not be linked to the KFVS12 Election Results the question must still be entertained, why would a local TV station have results, that were only partial results with 100% of the precincts reporting? And why were, of the Missouri results and politicians, the winners mostly those that have no issues with ‘special interest‘ funding? To this writer, and prior political candidate ‘special interest‘ monies is the basic reason that we have seen such a disconnect of our politicians from our citizens. This writer contends that taking these monies are equal to selling out ones vote for corporation over constituent and only used for self-enrichment. Special interest monies is why we see polticians becoming rich from public service!
It will be interesting to see what the Inspector General turns up in this investigation, like who the federal contractor was, and if Georgia was not hacked, was Kentucky, Missouri or Illinois? How did the local TV station get the election results page a week prior to the election? And why were other states listed in an alternate link and said to have been “zeroed out” but the original link in our story remained live? As well, are the numbers that were used the ‘illegal votes‘ coming from people not illegible to vote or even dead?
It all still remains a mystery, but we are glad that President Trump and his administration has taken an interest!
